I thought it did represent depression very well as I have chronic depression myself but I just didn't like the characters at all. <br /><br />Maybe it was my mindset going into it too. Who knows....? Like you said not every book is for everyone. What's so great about reading is that we all have different tastes. There definitely isn't much to the story at all. The reason that I loved it is because I could relate to the way in which depression can be an absence rather than anything advertly destructive and noticeable. That's why the book was so good to, because I related so deeply.<br /><br />Not every book works for everyone and this was a fantastic review either way!
